combination of Biscayne National Park as an estuary meeting with the
warm waters of the Gulf Stream current just 3 miles offshore create a
wealth of fish to enjoy. On any given day with the proper conditions

Live Bait
Here in Miami the majority of our fishing is done with live bait. Whether it be out of the kite, in the
riggers or down deep for bottom fish, live bait is one of the most productive and interactive methods
of catching fish. Catching bait is a daily process that can be a fun experience for novice and young
anglers alike. We catch our bait by hook and line and throw the cast net when conditions allow it.
Patients is equipped with two 60 gallon live wells that keep the bait fresh and frisky for the big fish.
Most of our bait spots are inside the bay or located within hundreds of yards from the beach so it is
a quick stop on the way to the fishing grounds.

determine what the best methods
may be. In some of the
summertime months it is more
productive to do some trolling to
cover more water looking for
fish. The bottom and wreck
fishing also gets very productive
with proper conditions.
